Connecting equipment to a mixer? Help!?
Hi there,
I recently got the idea of turning the spare garage to a small home-recording studio. I am a newbie to these connection things so please fill me in. Here is what I have so far:
Alesis iMultimix 16 Channel Mixer
MXL 990 Condensor Microphone x2
Yamaha PSR-e413
Yamaha DGX-640
I need to hook everything up to the Mixer. I know about Midi and thats it! Detailed instructions would be such a help. If there was a bigger reward than 10 points then I'd award it!
Andrew - The other answer is great but you really need to read the manual for your mixer. It will give you sample hookups and show you what to do after everything is hooked up:

You should read everything you can download about your mixer.
Good audio engineers always read the manual.
