What would be the best order for these guitar effect pedals?

I am going for a incubus / Tool sound.
-Digitech whammy
-Boss Reverb
-DOD Envelope Filter
-Boss Phase Shifter
-Boss Flanger
-Boss Metal core
-Moog Ring mod
-Boss Tremolo
-Boss Chrom. tuner
-MXR smart gate
-Boss Delay
-Visual sound Comp/OD
-Visual sound Chorus/echo
-Morley Volume pedal
-Morley Wah pedal
-Boss Octave
-Ibanez Lo-fi

After the effects the signal goes into a DBX rack EQ –> BBE sonic Maximixer –> Mesa dual rectifier.

any amp, eq, effect settings would be nice too.

This is what I would do, experiment with what works for you though…I’m just going off of a little rule I found work for me:
-clean signal to tuner and volume
-tube-driven sounds (reverb/tremolo)
-Overdrive (for boost)
-Distortion
-Modulation
-Delay (this utilizes a delay’s ablities to “pile on” sounds the best)

so…

TUNER FIRST!
-MXR smart gate
-volume pedal
-Reverb
-Tremolo
-comp/OD
-Metal Core
-Octave
-Wah pedal
-Whammy
-All your modulators go HERE (whatever order you want-so that’s like 3 or 4 pedals)
-Lo-Fi (I really don’t know where else to put these fillters)
-Envelope Filter (same with this one)
-END WITH BOSS DELAY (you’ll be glad you did!)

I’m just telling you this becuase I’ve played a lot of different rigs…you have too many pedals…unless you have someone setting your stuff up for you, this is going to get old real fast if you are playing out…plus you have stuff that there is no reason to have together…you several comps and gates and filters and a volume pedal and then you run that through a sonic maximizer into a dual rectifier?! wait, what? That sonic maximizer is great…BUT the modulators are a problem too. If think for one second that that BBE is going to perform CONSISTANTLY well with all of your modulators (pointing at the MOOG) I just don’t think it’s going to happen.

IF you are planning on running that chain through that rack EQ, I would set the EQ FLAT on the amp…and give the amp just a little, just a hair of drive…barely noticeable except when you hit a nice chord.
I could see the “TOOL” sound, but the dude in incubus plays all AC30′s now with a very VERY unique tonal quality to his sound, and I’m sure you know, nothing sounds like a 30 but a 30.

I hope I was of some help.
Good Luck
