There are important things to consider when purchasing bed linens such as sheet set, comforter set, bedspread or mattress pad for twin beds. What are the things to consider in buying twin bedding?
First and foremost know the exact size of the bed. Twin beds come in different sizes. An extra long twin bed is an oversized bed designed for taller teens. It is five inches longer than a standard size twin bed. Regular bedding will not fit in an extra long bed. This size is common in dormitories.
A standard twin bed or single bed is designed for one person. Its size is 39 x 75 inches. It is often found in daybeds and trundle beds. It is popular to kids and getting bedclothes for this size is easy.
