We need to know more about the response of the microphone inputs. Sometimes you have high-end roll-off?
and sometimes of poor quality. Why? How it works, and what you can do to prevent it? Where I can study these things online? Thanx. Sorry, I meant pre roll-off on the mic, I mean attenuation of high frequencies or low due to …. What? Impedance values, and microphone input? I'd really like know.
Circuit every audio have different characteristics. This is even the case of digital audio, analog preamplifier because of the associated balanced microphone inputs. As for rolling, cutting the switches are normally in the microphone itself. Most offer low-cut and high 80 Hz to 18-20 kHz. Roll off is used with an equalizer EQ curve for processing. There are plenty of sources for research on Internet audio components and library local. Audio is difficult to read though. There is no better teacher then the time and experience. Play around with the hardware and think not just about the end result, but is going to make that change. Happy learning.
