What type of effects should I get?
So, here’s the deal:
I’ve been playing the classical guitar for about 8 years now, and decided I want to try some different types of music. I bought a Fender Squier Guitar, and really like it, and I have a Dean Markley K-15X amp.
I have absolutely NO experience in buying equipment for electric guitar, and have no idea what type of pedels to get. I want something versatile, and would especially like to be able to play Punk and Indie Rock, as well as some classic rock.
I was looking at the BOSS DS-1 and Modtone Speedbox as they both seem to be in my price range… Are they any good?? Or do you have any other recomendations???
BOSS DS-1 is a great standard distortion pedal, it was my first pedal. get that.
