converting 9v dc into ac wall wart?
does anybody know if you can convert 9v dc into ac? I have a morley aby switcher that runs on only 9v batteries and i just recently bought a gator gbus8 power supply for all my pedals so I dont have to worry about switching batteries and them dying. I want to be able to put my whole chain on the power supply and i dont want to have to switch the batteries on the morley (its really a pain opening up the whole thing, its not easy like boss pedals). Does anybody know of something I can buy to convert it or maybe just something I can weld onto the existing wires to attach an ac port (port/ female end, however you call it). If so please explain and maybe give me a link or store where i can find it. thanks!
Sorry I’m slightly confused but let me run down the question,
You have the A-B switcher that only runs on 9v DC and doesn’t have the 9v input jack
The rest of your pedals are attached to the gator gbus8 which outputs 9v to 18v DC
Just FYI is the 9v battery only makes the LED’s light up and the switcher will work without the battery.
So I believe you just want to connect the A-B switcher to the gator gbus correct? if yes, there is no conversion of AC and DC, that is done by the gbus
All you need to do is buy a 9v pigail from radio shack

take one of your gbus cables, cut off the end that normally goes to a pedal and wire in the 9v pig tail, making sure with a multimeter the polarities are correct and you plug the cable into the correct 9v outlet on the gbus.
(after you have connected and soldered the 9v plug, red lead on the red wire, black lead on the black wire, and make sure it reads 9v, not -9v )
