if i use a distortion pedal with my Marshall MG100HDFX 100 Watt, would it sound good???
wich one would sound best with my amp???…. MXR CSP-021 GT-OD Overdrive Pedal, DigiTech Grunge Distortion Pedal, Boss ML-2 Metal Core Distortion Pedal, DigiTech Death Metal Distortion Pedal, or Boss MD-2 Mega Distortion Pedal..

you really shouldn’t need any more distortion than what the amp give .. you use the main channel.. not the one on the left.. turn the gain the contour the bass the treble all up and keep the mid range low .. and you should really be hearing screaming rock tone.. too much overdrive will end up making the sound muddy. however, you could use them i suppose and keep the gain on the amp lower … or you could use them as a boost for a lead.. although i have not found the need for either with that amp
