Ruckus Accessories: Wearable Digital Cameras for Sports
The last time I took my Honda Ruckus scooter out racing I thought to myself, how cool would it be if I could mount a video camera somewhere on the scooter. With the Go Pro digital camera now I can.
Last year while recording a big group Ruckus ride with a digital camera it still managed to fall off and hit the ground at 45mph and was destroyed. After a fellow rider heard about the incident, he told me about Ruckus parts available for recording at high speed. That’s when I learned about the Go Pro and researched about it immediately to make sure during my next ride I have the proper Ruckus accessories. The Go Pro is durable and made for external high speed driving and riding. The video records at high quality and you’re able to share them through sites like YouTube.com and Break.com.
This Go Pro video camera is also a good testing tool for on or off track. You can also get creative and mount these cameras on anything or anywhere from cars to motorcycles to helmets or strapping the mount on your chest.
The new Go Pro HD camera records at 1080p, 960p and 720p. The camera also comes with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery. The standard Go Pro cameras are about $250 – 300 and use AAA batteries.
Unlike conventional video cameras, Go Pro has no moving parts and it comes with a waterproof case. This camera is made to take a beating.
