Singing Machine SMG-137 CD+G Karaoke System $15.96 |
what can I do if my karaoke machine has a slow processor and the words don’t light up in time with the beat?
I just bought a karaoke machine (The Singing Machine SMG-137) and while trying to sing along the lyrics on the screen are not lighting up in time with the true timing of the song. It’s hard to know how to sing a song when you are relying on the words lighting up to give the timing. I’ve been told it might be a slow processor. Has anyone experienced this and how was it resolved?
Karaoke machines are basically the same as CD or DVD players with CDC capibilities. Is this malady happening on on cds? just one cd? all songs? I have a few (a lot) of karaoke cds and some tracks do that. I have a Simon and Garfunkle CD that the first song “Homeward Bound” is so messed up that if you dont know the words, forget it. Also one or two others as well.
I do not believe it is the machine. Not all karaoke CD’s are not made top quality. Therer are some names that are better than others. There are some names that follow the original better than others. DK cd’s are about the best for closeness, chartbusters are good as well. If you know the song, sing it like you know it. A lot of my karaoke songs are done from an audio CD cause I know the words and dont have to follow them. There are some that even though I have been singing karaoke for over 15 years, I still cant remember them.
