It uses Mini CD-R media, which allows the unit to easily fit into your pocket. A persuasive feature of this unit is its ability to store up to 3 times more music than traditional portable CD players, which allows it to hold about 45 songs. This unit uses the Mini CD-R discs and then transfers them onto a standard CD-R/RW drive, which will allow you to create your own custom song list.
The Teac Mini CD/MP3 player comes with a digital equalizer and built in boost for the notes in the lower range, resulting in a quality of sound that is rich and pleasing. The unit runs on 2 AA batteries and comes equipped with an anti-shock feature. The units display LCD controls and buttons for the 3-band equalizer and Repeat and Intro modes. Additional controls will allow you to customize your own lists of songs for driving, for partying or just relaxing.
