Make you own acid drum loops
When we speak of loops in electronic music it refers to a repeated sample in the music created. The sample may in the form of an instrument, a beat or a different sound recording. The creation of loops can be by various methods like by using sampling software, cutting in between two record players, tape loops or by using delay effects. Acid drum loop is a commonly used music loop while creating music and its software popular by the name of Sony Acid Pro was introduced in 1998.
Sony Acid Pro is actually a digital audio workstation and was earlier popular by the name of ACID pH1. It is known to be the premier in automatic audio-based music software. It is extremely simple to use; you can simply drag and drop an acid drum loop file or an acid bass loop file on a track in Acid. This dropped track would automatically get adjusted with respect to the tempo and key of the particular song. The best feature of this software is that the sound quality does not get degraded at all.
This innovation in the music composition industry brought a revolution and became immensely popular with music producers, music composers and DJ’s. It is now very simple to create beats, orchestrations, mix music textures and they would work on any tempo or key with the loops adjusting all by themselves.
The software utilizes its acidized music wave files for this automatic adjustment of the loops. This looping technique has bee very well accepted by the market and has been incorporated by other digital audio workstations too. However, there are some compatibility issues with certain operating systems. As a result a latest version of acidized loops has been released that takes care of these compatibility problems.
The latest Acid Pro 6 is a full digital audio workstation and includes multi track audio recording and MIDI. It also supports VST, ASIO, VSTI audio, music synthesizer and plugins. The acid loops contain the appropriate key and tempo information for apt pitch transposition. These acid loops are painted across the music screen when you create music tracks.
ACID Pro 7 also includes a mixing console along with vertical faders and some added options too. For creating an acid drum loop start by selecting the right tempo for your loop. The tempo would be instrumental in deciding the speed at which the loops would play in the music and would be measured as beats per minutes.
You can use the web interface to arrange your loops and also select the drum type on the sequencer. Add the required effects and adjust the volume settings. You may preview what you have created before you finalize your final music.
